The Labour Party (LP) governorship aspirant for the November 8 Anambra election, Chief George Moghalu, has said that there's so much work to do in the state, assuring the people that he will not disappoint if given the mandate.
Moghalu, who spoke at Nzam, Anambra West local government area as he began local government tour of LP stakeholders and executives in the state, expressed concern over the poor condition of the access roads into the area, which, he noted, are in a more dilapidated state than in 2012.
"There is much to be done across the state, especially in Anambra West. This area remains the agricultural base of the state, and I will elevate it to the next level for enhanced productivity, raw materials, and industrializatio"' he said.
He also acknowledged that Anambra West and other councils in the state need to be transformed into exporters of farm and industrial products.
He stated that the restoration of palm produce in the East, agricultural products will begin as soon as he forms the government.
He also promised to tackle the issue of flooding in the area to minimize the suffering of the people.
