The National Coordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors' Forum, Chinedu Obigwe has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State of politicizing insecurity.
In a statement in Awka, Obigwe described the APC's tactics as "outdated", emphasizing that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has made significant strides in securing the state.
Recall that APC had at a press conference in Awka flayed the state government for alleged failure to address the insecurity situation in the state.
The Director General of Paul Chukwuma Primary Election Campaign, Ifeanyi Ibezi, who spoke at the conference said Chukwuma had put together a formula to rescue the people of the state from the dire security situation as part of his campaign mantra of human capital development, infrastructural development and security.
Reacting on the APC statement, Obigwe said Governor Soludo has done marvelously well in Anambra's security sector,.
According to him, APC's criticism of the governor's security efforts is, in fact, an indictment on the party which is in charge of federal security operatives, including the police, DSS, army, and civil defense.
He expressed confidence in Governor Soludo's re-election, citing his achievements and the people's support for consolidating the zoning arrangement in Anambra State.
