The Anambra lawyer, Adachukwu Okafor, who pressed hot iron on her housemaid at the 3 3 area of Onitsha is still on the run days after the incident.
Apart from using the hot iron on the 10 - year old girl, Okafor also inserted hot knife into her private part as punishment for allegedly touching the penis of her son while bathing him.
The lawyer, who also claimed to be a pastor in a pentecostal church, drove out of her house as neighbours gathered to question her reason for meting out such a wicked act on the girl.
Investigation in Onitsha showed that Okafor has neither reported the matter to the police, not surrendered herself to security operatives.
The mother of the victim, who narrated the incident to the people in the neighbourhood lamented what happened, adding that she had to give out her daughter to the woman because she is her nephew.
