Anambra: Tinubu, Ganduje, others, to attend Sen. Ubah's empowerment, APC colloquium

Everything is set for the All Progressives Congress (APC) planned colloquium and Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's mega empowerment programme at Nnewi this weekend. It is expected to be graced by President Bola Tinubu and the national chairman of APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje.

Also expected to attend the programme, which would take place at Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi, are the governors elected on the platform of APC, Senators, House of Representatives members, Ministers and other top politicians in the country.


A statement by the media office of Senator Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial District, added that a colloquium titled, 'De-Marginalization of the South East and Integration to National Politics’ to be held at Anaedo Hall, Nnewi, will precede the empowerment programme which APC leaders in the South East, would also attend.


Recall that Senator Ubah, who was elected on the platform of Young Progressive Party, YPP, has declared interest to contest the 2025 Anambra governorship election on the platform of APC.


According to the programme made available to reporters in Awka, the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Professor Charles Esimone, will deliver the lecture.


Organizers of the programme said both events would afford the leadership of the party at national and state levels the opportunity to interact with the people of Anambra State ahead of the 2025 election in the state.


Since joining the APC, Senator Ubah has been arguing consistently that it is necessary to integrate Igbo people into national politics to enable them enjoy full dividends of democracy.


He described the empowerment programme as part of his legislative activities, aimed at developing young talents and supporting the people of Anambra South Senatorial District to achieve their goals in life.
