The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the last governorship election in Delta State, Ovie Omo-Agege, has lost his appeal against Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, at the Supreme Court.
The former Deputy President of Senate, had sought to sack Governor Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
But the Supreme Court in it's ruling on his appeal Friday morning dismissed it and ended his ambition of the Governor in this dispensation.
The five-member panel of the Supreme Court in it's judgement held that Omo-Agege and his party failed to prove their case that the election was conducted without substantial compliance with the Electoral Act.
The court shortly after that commenced delivery of the judgment on the appeal by Kenneth Gbagi of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
