The Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Mr. Fred Agbata has emphasized the crucial role of technology for the state's future, urging workers at the third tier of government to embrace it because it has come to stay.

Agbata spoke at the ongoing 2024 Local Government Service Week at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka,

Highlighting efforts to make Anambra's workforce, including local government officials, tech-savvy, the MD stressed technology's inclusive nature and the significant investments it requires.

According to him, it is important that officials should embrace technological initiatives because they enhance value in any field.

Other speakers, including Dr. Bridget Egbosi, said in addition to investing in digital tools, officials should also emphasize on personal development.
