Enugu State today witnessed demonstration on the new road leading from Nike lake hotel to Opi in Nsukka.
The protesters were seen carrying various placards reminding the government of the state of it's duty to protect the citizens from the nefarious acts of kidnappers, terrorists and brigands from within and outside the state.
The demonstration caused a traffic gridlock on the way as the demonstrators wanted all and sundry to feel their pain at the nefarious activities of criminals in the state.
Some of those interviewed at the scene blamed the government for abneging on its duty to protect the citizens in the state.
