A former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Labour Party( LP), Mr. Valentine Ozigbo has finally severed relationship with the Obidient Movement and floated Valiant Movement as his own political family ahead of the November 8 Anambra election.
Until he defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, recently, Ozigbo was a close associate of Peter Obi and a staunch member of the Obidient Movement.
The new movement is geared towards backing Ozigbo's efforts to win the November 8, 2025, election..
Key leaders of the Valiant Movement have already held their maiden meeting in Anambra State, during which officers to pilot its affairs were named.
Those elected include Bishop Ike Okoronkwo, National Coordinator; Comrade C.C. Emereonwu, SA on Mobilization; Hon. Wendy Atikpoh, Director of Women Affairs; and Mr. Chinedu Odozor, Zonal Coordinator for Anambra North.
During the meeting, Bishop Okoronkwo expressed his readiness to kick-start activities in Anambra ahead of the governorship election, emphasizing Ozigbo's character and competence as the ideal qualities for the next governor of the state.
While Emereonwu declared Ozigbo as a "political game-changer" destined to win the election, Hon. Atikpoh urged women to mobilize support for him, citing his genuine concern for women's welfare.
Already, the Valiant Movement has begun sensitizing leaders across the 21 local government areas of the state and demonstrating its commitment to Ozigbo's candidacy.
