Mr. Henry Izuogu, the father of Mazuwa Izuogu
from Ezi Orsu community in Oguta local government area of Imo State, who was kidnapped in the community early this year, has called on security operatives to help find his son.
The 20 -year old Mazuwa Izuogu got missing and, after waiting for for days, his father went into the bush at Ezi Orsu in search of his son.
In an emotion - laden plea, Pa Henry Izuogu said: "I became worried and went into the bush to look for my son and was detained for six days by those who I suspected were responsible for abducting him.
For six days, I was without food and when they discovered that I was very sick, they allowed me to go.
When Maruwa was kidnapped, we thought that the kidnappers were going to demand for ransom so they could release him, but they didn't do that.
It was after some months of waiting for his return and nothing happened that I decided to go in search of my son.
Our people have been combing all the bushes in Ezi Orsu in search of his body, just in case he had been killed, but there is no clue. My entire family is devastated and that is why I am calling on the police to help us."
He also called on the government of Imo State to intervene in the matter as the family has exhausted its resources in search of their son.
Great work it has been happening
