A group, 'Nigeria 2.0 freedom' has expressed its commitment towards creating a better future for Nigeria.
The Executive Director of the group, Reverend Innocent Peace -Udochukwu, while addressing members of the organization, believed that change is possible in the country.
According to him, there is need for every Nigerian to play his part to make a difference for the good of the country.
He said: "The Nigeria we are seeking is not one of violence or destruction. Rather, it is a revolution of the heart and mind, a revolution of ideas and values."
"We seek to create a Nigeria that is just, equitable, and peaceful. We seek to build a Nigeria that is truly for the people, by the people."
"This will not be easy, but we believe that with God's help and people's cooperation, it is possible."
The current system in Nigeria is broken and riddled with corruption and impunity, but we have no choice than to fight for change for a better future for our country and our children.
"It is time for the people to take a stand, to peacefully and determinedly demand the change we so desperately need."
He urged the people to remember that the nation's problem is not just about bad leaders, but also about the responsibility of the people to hold their leaders accountable.
"It's not enough to simply blame those in power; we must also take responsibility for our own actions and choices. By holding ourselves and our leaders accountable, we can create a better future for Nigeria."
"We will not be deterred by the weather or by the difficulties ahead. We know that this will be a long and challenging journey, but we are determined to see it through. We will continue to fight for the Nigeria we all deserve, even when the days are hot and the nights are cold."
"We will not give up, we will not be silenced, and we will not be satisfied until our country is transformed for the better."
"Let no one be discouraged by the belief that there is nothing one person can do against the enormous array of our country's ills, misery, ignorance, and violence."
"We know that changing a country like Nigeria is no easy task, and we may sometimes feel overwhelmed by the scale of the challenge ahead."
"We believe in the power of many people working together for change. Let us not be discouraged", he said.
