The national chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Mr. Sly Ezeokenwa has called on the federal government to earnestly address the food inflation in the country and the current hardships experienced by Nigerians.

In his goodwill message to mark the occasion of Eid-el -Kabir, Ezeokenwa also emphasized the need for decisive actions by policymakers to reposition the Nigerian economy for the better and to promptly resolve the issue of the national minimum wage.

While wishing Muslims a peaceful celebration, he prayed that the blessings of Eid el-Kabir would resonate throughout the nation, fostering a sense of togetherness and resilience in the face of the ongoing trials.

He underscored the significance of celebrating the festival with unity, love, and a spirit of sacrifice, noting that the occasion serves as an opportunity for believers to contemplate the timeless lessons of compassion, selflessness, and generosity as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

"Eid el-Kabir holds a distinctive place in the hearts of Muslims globally, reminding us of the virtues of selflessness, compassion, and devotion.

During this revered period, APGA acknowledges and celebrates the invaluable contributions of the Muslim faithful to our great nation," Ezeokenwa said.

The chairman called on Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, to embrace the values exemplified by Eid el-Kabir and strive to embody its principles.

He further urged Muslims to utilize the occasion to fortify their bonds of unity with their fellow Nigerians, regardless of religious or cultural differences, as well as extend a helping hand to those in need, as these principles form the foundation for a prosperous and inclusive society.
