Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has commended Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the late Igbo leader and Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu for being committed to her late husband's ideal.
Soludo, through his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, made the statement to mark Mrs Ojukwu's birthday.
"Ambassador Ojukwu’s grace, intelligence, and consistent commitment to the noble ideals of her late husband and great Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, never cease to inspire many.
"Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s remarkable contributions as a diplomat, lawyer, politician and businesswoman continue to exemplify her dedication to public service and empowerment", Soludo said.
The governor, while celebrating the former beauty queen, wished her "abundant happiness, good health, and many more years filled with success and joy".
Recall that Governor Soludo recently appointed Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu a member of the governing council of the state-owned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University named after her late husband.
