AS part of its commitment to foster African climate tech entrepreneurship, the IDEA Africa, a high tech organization, is spearheading the Climate Action Africa Forum 2024 (CAAF24) Deal Room expected to take place in Nigeria.
The programme is being planned in partnership with Climate Action Africa and Silicon-Valley, USA -based Founder Institute.
Executive Director of IDEA Africa, Mr. Ifedy Eze said during media interaction in Awka that the strategic collaboration underscores IDEA Africa's pivotal role in advancing innovation across the African continent, with a focused emphasis on the crucial area of climate technology.
Eze said the Lagos event will serve as the centerpiece of CAAF24 and would provide a premier platform for African climate tech startups to engage with investors and stakeholders alike.
According to him, participants and investors include the African Development Bank (AfDB), Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), The Catalyst Fund, Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF), among others, adding that their participation underscores the event’s significance and the potential for substantial investment opportunities in Climate Change.
He added that with IDEA Africa's distinguished expertise, the initiative seeks to catalyze groundbreaking investments in climate solutions and positioning Africa as a leader in sustainable innovation.

The session will facilitate financing for solutions contributing to the growth and sustainability of Africa's green economy.
