The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum has rejected the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) recognition of Edozie Njoku as the party's national chairman, describing it as a sham with no legal backing.
National coordinator of the Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, said the purported recognition is a mere charade that will not stand the test of time.
According to him, the party's authentic national chairman remains Barrister Sylvester Ezeonkenwa, and its national leader is Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
He urged those he described as enemies of APGA not to rejoice over the development as they would ultimately be disgraced.
He also urged supporters and loyalists of the party to remain calm and focused, as the party's leadership would not be distracted by the antics of mercenaries and impostors.
He said the party would explore all legal avenues to address the issue to ensure that the truth prevails.
Obigwe said: "APGA faithful are solidly standing with Governor Soludo as our national leader and Barr Sly Ezeokenwa as our only elected national Chairman.
Edozie Njoku cannot emerge from the blues to become our party national chairman".
