The Anambra State command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has destroyed four clandestine laboratories that allegedly produce the deadly Methamphetamine drugs in the state.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the agency, Mr Christopher Adebo who spoke at the anti drug abuse campaign rally organized in Anambra North Senatorial district, lamented that 14.4 percent of Nigerians are involved in drug abuse, adding that Anambra State ranks highest in the South East
Adebo said that the agency has mapped out a five -year work on plan prevention programme aimed at stopping the use and supply of drugs in the state.
He urged the town union leaders and traditional rulers to be part of the fight against drug abuse as it destroying the country's youths.
