Obedients movement worldwide comments on the state of Affairs in Nigeria following the Supreme court affirmation of the decision of the Presidential election petition tribunal.

In a statement issued by Dr Michael Chukwujekwu flanked by Dr Haruna Gorah, Ebere Obiesie, Yinika Quadiri and Pastor James Ime, the groups stated that Nigeria can do better than its present dismal performance.

The group expressed dismay that vital statistical economic indicators are going in the negative direction along with the GDP, while the Nation continues to borrow money for consumption with little or no effort to move the country towards production and export.

The Obedient movement worldwide and Nigeria cuts across all classes of people, working class, the business class, the religious leaders, the masses and all those who earnestly desire a change in the economic trajectory of the Nigerian state.

The group noted that the 2023 Election has come and gone the leadership change has not arrested the continuous slide of the nation towards economic precipice: total imports increasing with near to zero exports, while the oil money is grossly mismanaged.

The group further decried a situation where the security agents harass and intimidate the youths of the nation for making efforts to survive the untold hardship unleashed on the people through bad governance and gross mismanagement of resources in the nation.

The worldwide movement reiterated a committed to holding the banner of dignity high during the meeting held on 10th November by 11pm Nigeria time and took bold step to declare their gubernatorial preferences in the up coming staggered elections in Nigeria.

The group pledged to work hard to enthrone ethics, morality, equity, political decency and genuine democracy in Nigeria
