The Federal Government has doled out N180 billion to the 36 states of the federation.
Each off the states received the sum of N5 billion from the money made to mitigate the effects of the removal of petrol subsidy.
Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, disclosed this while briefing State House Correspondents with his colleagues, on the outcomes of the National Economic Council (NEC), presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday.
The NEC is made up of 36 State Governors, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and other coopted Government officials.
