Senator Victor Umeh defeats Dozie Nwankwo at Court of Appeal

The Appeal Court sitting in Lagos has dismissed the appeal filed by Hon. Dozie Nwankwo of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, against the judgement of the Election Petition Tribunal that upheld the victory of Senator Victor Umeh of Labour Party, LP, in the 2023 Senatorial Election in Anambra Central senatorial zone.

A media aide to Senator Umeh said with the ruling, he would now concentrate on attracting the dividends of democracy for the people of Anambra Central.
