Soludo names Fidelity Bank MD as Nwafor Orizu College of Education chairman

Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has named the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Nneka Onyali- Ikpe as the chairman of the governing council of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe.

Other members of the council are Chief Fidelis Nweke, Prof. (Rev Sis) Uju Marie-Esther Dibua, Ven (Dr) Rex C.Kanu and Prof. Celestine Uzoma Aguoru.

Meanwhile, Soludo has appointed Dr. Justina Anyadiegwu as the Provost of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe. Anyadiegwu succeeds Dr. Ifeyinwa Osegbo whose tenure has ended.

Anyadiegwu brings to her new role a wealth of experience garnered over 18 years as a senior lecturer in the institution.

Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Anyadiegwu has also contributed significantly to the educational landscape of Nigeria. Her role as a consultant trainer with the British Council Nigeria underscores her proficiency and recognition in the field of education.

Anyadiegwu holds a Ph.D. in English/Language Arts/Teacher Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Press Secretary to Governor Soludo, Mr. Christian Aburime said the appointment of Dr. Anyadiegwu reflects the governor's commitment to promoting meritocracy and fostering the continued growth and development of educational institutions in Anambra State.
