A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chinedu Obigwe has described as crude propaganda the insinuation that the Anambra State government uses water vendors to fill the Ochanja roundabout water fountain in Onitsha recently constructed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
In a viral video, a water vendor was seen pouring water into the fountain, which surprised many people.
Reacting to the development, Obigwe, who is the national coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum described the propaganda on the issue as infantile.
Obigwe said: "The general public should disregard the numerous blackmail against Governor Soludo administration because the only thing Anambra electorate that voted for him is seeing under his watch is that he is taking the people of our beloved state to their envisaged promised land.
Soludo is performing wonders in all sectors of governance and Anambra people are grateful to him for what he is doing in our state."
It's childish for anybody to say that he uses local water vendors to fill the yet-to-be inaugurated Ochanja roundabout water fountain project.
"As at today in Anambra, the governor has redefined governance in our state through the delivery of dividends of good governance.
"Let's not forget in a hurry that Ochanja roundabout was formerly used as a dustbin dump site by residents of the area. But when Soludo came in, he promised to give Iweka road and that of Ochanja roundabout a transformational midas touch.
Today, Governor Soludo has fulfilled that promise of giving Iweka road and Ochanja roundabout a transformational midas touch. If you go to Ochanja roundabout, you will see a water fountain and a dualized road constructed at iweka."
" It is unfair to say that Governor Soludo is using water vendors to fill the Ochanja roundabout water fountain project.
The Soludo that Nigerians know very well has a standard and he maintains that standard."

That Ochanja roundabout water fountain project has come to stay and it's among the many wonders of Governor Soludo's administration.
