Three persons were burnt beyond recognition in a motor accident along the Ezinano-Nkwo Agulu section of the Agulu road in Anambra State.
The victims were the driver of the vehicle and two passengers (a male and a female).
The victims have remained unidentified, with security agencies already contacted for assistance.
A survivor, who gave his name as Chinonso said the fourteen-seater Mitsubishi bus, loaded at Amawbia to transport them to Ekwulọbịa, adding that after taking off, one of the passengers cautioned the driver about the speeding when he attempted to avoid a pothole in a dangerous manner.
According to him, shortly after the caution, the vehicle veered off the road, somersaulted and cut fire.
"I, along with other passengers managed to escape, but our attempts to aid the three victims were thwarted by the intense flames."
