A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Anambra State, Owelle Mbaso has vowed that the party would win next year's Anambra governorship election, saying the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA cannot receive them again.
According to Mbaso, APGA has lost its way and is desperately clinging to the legacy of the late Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, without upholding his values.
He said that what happened in Abia State, where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was ousted by the Labour Party( LP) in the last election, would happen in Anambra State, adding that despite efforts to suppress Dr. Alex Otti, the masses rallied behind him, such that Abia is now thriving under the new administration.
Mbaso accused the APGA leadership of deceiving the people of Anambra State by claiming to uphold Ojukwu's legacy, while actually working against his ideals.
He observed that the Soludo administration has consistently been disparaging Ojukwu's name and removing his image from the party's materials.
He warned against being deceived again by APGA's tactics and assured that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah will lead the APC to victory in 2025 to usher in a brighter future for the state.
"The masses have rejected APGA's deception and are ready to embrace the APC, which will bring positive change to Anambra State", he added
