Nigeria s from various walks of life were in attendance when the Senator representing Anambra Central senatorial district, Chief Victor Umeh gave out his first daughter, Chidinma in marriage.
The roll call of those in attendance include His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party in 2023, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe representing Abia South,
Senator Peter Onyekachi Nwaebonyi (Ebonyi North), Senator Osita Ngwu (Enugu West), Senator Ken Eze (Ebonyi Central), Senator Okey Ezea (Enugu North), and Senator Kelvin Chukwu (Enugu East).
Others are Hon Nnolim Nnaji, Hon. Prof. Lilian Orogbu and Hon Anayo Onwuegbu, who are all members of the House of Representatives, as well as members of Anambra State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze.
Also present were His Excellency, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, former governor of Enugu state, Traditional Rulers from Anambra and Enugu states, including: HRH Igwe Rufus Iloduba (Eze Ohanyelu na Aguluzigbo), HRH Igwe Christopher Okpala (Ezennebo Na Akwaeze) and HRM Igwe Peter Anugwu (Ezeukwu na Mbaukwu).
Former deputy governors of Anambra State, His Excellency Dr. Nkem Okeke
and His Excellency, Chief Emeka Sibudu were there too.

Others are foremost industrialists from Anambra State, Chief Sir Joseph Ezeokafor—Jezco Group Oil Nigeria Limited, Chief Sir Joseph Ukeji—Ejison Group of Companies, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Okonkwo (Emmabishop)—Ekulo Group of Companies, Chief Innocent Chukwuma—Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Amb. Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, former National Secretary of APGA, Alhaji Sani Shinkafi, DIG Valentine Ntomchukwu, Rtd, AIG Chris Ezike, Ambassador Fidelia Njeze.
Other dignitaries at the occasion include Labour Party governorship aspirant in the forthcoming Anambra Governorship Election, Chief Valentine Ozigbo, former members of House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dozie Nwankwo, Hon. Chief Chukwuma Umeoji, former Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Episeni Uche Okafor, and Chief Kanayo Nwandu—Master Holdings Ltd.
At the ceremony, Senator Umeh and his wife, Lady Prisca Umeh (Osodieme), blessed their daughter and handed her over to her husband, Obinna Cyril Ifeanyi, son of Chief Obiora Cyril Ifeanyi (Gburugburu) and Lolo Ifeoma Ifeanyi from Mbosi, Ihiala LGA of Anambra State.
The Amadeo Event Centre, Enugu, venue of the ceremony was packed full with the guests.
The traditional rites had earlier been performed at Aguluzigbo, Senator Umeh's hometown.
